HDB FIRST APPOINTMENT




Before First Appointment

Seller need to engage either private lawyer or HDB lawyer for
     Sales of flat
      Bank loan discharge

(  If private Lawyer is engaged,  seller and seller's agent need not attend completion. )






On First Appointment

FOR OVERSEAS SELLERS WITH POA
All legal documents signed overseas must be signed in front  of Notary Public
Or Commissioner for oaths.
Need to submit original documents with Signature in BLUE Ink :

Upon First Appoinment
HDB Customer Service Manager will

verify Buyer's Identification with all documents
Buyer's Agent SD

verify Seller's Identification with all documents
Seller's Agent SD

Officer advise Seller's Resale Procedure
Officer advise Buyer's Resale Procedure


Seller and Buyer can arrange a fix date  for completion with Officer.



After First Appointment
Seller Need to terminate all GIRO payment
with immediate effect,
eg Power Supply,
Town Council Service/Conservancy Charges etc.


Seller need to visit Town Council to finalise and settle
service/conservancy charges,
return the letter to HDB officer
with town Council's stamp
upon completion.

Seller's Lawyer :
Check outstanding tax for property owners
Property Owners can do it online to check his outstanding tax (e Service)
